<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">School Board members should ask difficult questions, set measurable goals, and demand results. I will bring independent judgment, transparency, and a consistent focus on students to every decision before the Board.</span></p>

<h2>Accountable Leadership</h2>

<p>Parents should never feel disconnected from the decisions affecting their children's education.</p><p>BHUSD should communicate openly about curriculum, major policy changes, academic performance, spending, safety issues, and important Board decisions.</p><p>Parents deserve meaningful opportunities to provide input before significant decisions are made—not simply after the fact.</p><p>I support clear communication from the District, easily accessible information, greater transparency regarding major expenditures and policies, and a School Board that listens respectfully to parents even when there is disagreement.</p><p>Parents, teachers, administrators, and Board members will not always agree on every issue. But the process should always be open, respectful, and transparent.</p><p>Trust is built when families know what is happening in their schools and understand why decisions are being made.</p>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">Parents deserve a meaningful voice in their children’s education and clear information about the decisions affecting our schools. I will support greater transparency in curriculum, spending, policies, academic performance, and major Board decisions.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">Taxpayer dollars should be spent carefully, transparently, and with a clear benefit to students. I will scrutinize major expenditures, construction projects, contracts, and administrative spending to ensure BHUSD receives real value for every dollar.</span></p>

<h2>Fiscal Responsibility</h2>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">Technology should support learning, not replace good teaching. Especially in TK–8, I support reducing unnecessary screen time and placing greater emphasis on teachers, books, handwriting, discussion, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.</span></p>

BHUSD should help students develop four-year academic plans beginning in ninth grade, strengthen college counseling, prepare students for the admissions requirements of the colleges they may pursue, and expand internships, mentorships, job-shadowing, and career exploration.</span></p>

BHUSD should recruit and retain exceptional teachers while establishing consistently high academic expectations across classrooms and grade levels.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">Every student deserves to feel safe at school and while traveling to and from campus. I will support strong campus security, emergency preparedness, and close coordination with law enforcement and City officials as Beverly Hills continues to grow and change.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">BHUSD should prepare students not merely to pass the next class, but to succeed at the next stage of their lives. I support rigorous academics, clear grade-level expectations, measurable results, targeted intervention when students struggle, and greater opportunities for students ready to advance.</span></p>
